Joost Liebregts
Associate Partner
Joost has a background in industrial design and uses his skills to help bring people together and encourage exploration and experimentation. His focus is on facilitating learning and (personal) growth to make the world a healthier and happier place.
Joost believes that the best way to tackle the world’s challenges is by embracing our roots as social animals. As humans, we need to feel connected to others and valued to do our best work. We find fulfilment in our work when we see it positively affecting those around us.
Joost is a maker at heart and has always been interested in learning new ways of making, such as digital tools, electronics, 3D printing, and woodworking. However, he also believes that true, positive change can only happen when people work together.
To help tackle the world’s challenges, Joost shares his knowledge of making, design, technology, and social dynamics. He facilitates growth in curious individuals, such as design students, and guides non-designers through innovation and change processes. Joost helps others turn their challenges into practical experiments and foster a learning mindset.
Joost has designed and facilitated over 100 workshops, both physical and digital, for organizations such as the University of Amsterdam, Eindhoven University of Technology, Municipality of Tilburg, de Ontwikkelacademie, Kamp Vuur, Taskforce Korte Keten, SOW sustainability, Dutch Design Foundation, and Volt Europe. His workshops range from 5-day strategy sprints to 2-hour prioritization workshops.
